I have worked criminal defense cases for private counsel and State Public Defender appointments across Wisconsin for years, more than three hundred of them, from OWI to homicide. The job on every one has been the same: read what the State produced, find what it did not, and put it in a report an attorney can use at trial.

I now take plaintiff personal injury work. A defense investigator spends a career testing how a case was built. That is exactly the work a plaintiff lawyer needs done in the first month, before the evidence is gone.

The police report is where your case starts, not where it ends. My job is to find what the officer did not have time to find.
